Fantasy novelist Delia Marshall Turner fences sabre, collects fountain pens, and hangs out with bad characters.  Despite decades as a teacher, and despite various graduate degrees, she was not actually qualified to teach any of the subjects she taught.  She attributes her success to her complete inability to focus.*  She is the author of Nameless Magery, Of Swords and Spells, and The Stick Princess in the Ways of Magic series, and of Dog of the Dead, first book in the Ms. Whitaker series. Her books are available on Amazon.

Nameless Magery was nominated for the James Tiptree Jr. Award and for the Locus Award for Best First Novel, and the books were combined as the Science Fiction Book Club offering, The Ways of Magic.
