"Blueberries May Reduce Effects of Aging"
The New York Times
September 20, 1999

A treatment to stop the effects of getting old might be as close as the supermarket shelves. This treatment is blueberries. Scientists fed old rats blueberries and the rats got better at balance, coordination, and short-term memory. The rats lived an average of 6 extra months after eating blueberries every day. I eat blueberries in a fruit shake every morning for energy. I hope the blueberries make me live longer.

Recipe for the fruit shake

Crush ice in a blender
Add ½ cup of orange
Add 2 T of blueberries
Add ½ of a banana
Add 2 T of watermelon
Add 1 container of vanilla yogurt
Put your blender on high for 2 minutes
DRINK! There should be enough for your whole family.

"Missing What Didn't Add Up, NASA Subtracted an Orbiter"
New York Times
October 1, 1999

Do you know what happened to the Mars Orbiter?  Scientists lost a $125 million dollar spacecraft.  There was a rumor about it crashing into Mars and burning up in the atmosphere.  One group of scientists calculated in pounds and another group used newtons.  I think the space ship got lost in space and burned up in the atmosphere.  I also think they should be more accurate.
